The FutureIcons Foundation launched the “Udvikas” project in Uttarakhand, India, on 27th February, spanning two months. Udvikas aimed to enhance women’s health and foster long-term financial security in the Himalayan region. The program provided a one-month online training for rural women, focusing on entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency. With industry experts, doctors, educators, and trainers, the initiative empowered women in their health and prosperity. Appropriate Technology India collaborated to host the program. Dr. Rajesh Nathani, Vice-Chancellor of Himalayan University, guided the online sessions. Over 250 women from Uttarakhand participated, making Udvikas a transformative endeavor for women’s empowerment.
